The attachments tab is used to show a list of all of the attachments currently associated with the selected project or task. Note the attachments can be a web link, normal file or a directory of files. Attachments are automatically encrypted, compressed and uploaded the complete project network. Attachments can only be accessed by team members who have access to the selected task or project.
The attachments tree shows a list of all attachments currently associated with the selected task or project.
The attachment status shows the current status of a given attachment. The attachment status can be in one of five states:
Synchronized - attachments in this state are current with the attachment version stored on the server.
Available Online - attachments in this state are not available locally but can be downloaded from the CompleteProject network.
Updated Locally - attachments in this state have been modified locally and the changes have not yet been uploaded to the CompleteProject network.
Updated Remotely - attachments in this state have been updated remotely and those changes have not yet been downloaded. Therefore the local copy is out of date.
Unable to Synchronize - attachments in this state have been updated locally and remotely and can therefore not be synchronized. The only way out of this state is to remove the local copy and re-download the file and then reapply your changes to the newly downloaded file. Once the changes have been applied you can commit your changes.
The detail section of the attachment tree shows normal file details familiar to most Windows users. Note that the details shown may be dependent on the view area of the attachment tree.
