Every task in the project within CompleteProject is given a unique e-mail address. This unique e-mail address can be used to track e-mail messages associated with the project or task. One of the downsides of this approach is that the e-mail addresses must be dynamically generated. Because of this, the generated e-mail addresses are not always easy to remember.
To better handle this issue you can set an alias for an e-mail address. An e-mail address alias is simply another e-mail address that references the same task or project. An email alias is always in the format userName.ALIAS@tasklist.com. You are only able to customize the "ALIAS" part of the email.
There are three important rules to keep in mind when creating an email alias:
An alias must be between 3 and 20 characters and cannot contain symbols or punctuation.
Once created, an email alias cannot be deleted.
It is possible to create an alias which already exists. In this case, the old reference will be overwritten.
Current Alias List
The current alias list displays all aliases currently associated with the given task or project.
The new alias text box allows you to enter the new alias you would like to create.
The help command will create a new web browser session and direct it to this help page.
The create command will create the new alias chosen in the new alias text box.
The ok command will close the form without making any further changes.
